The Special Interview With Merry Riana

Hello this time I will interviewed a woman famous motivator. Who does not familiar with the figure of women this one?

This is one of the motivations that inspired me and the others.

Yes, she is Merry Riana. A motivator no. 1 in Indonesia and Asia. Not only as motivator, Merry Riana also a writer and entrepreneur, of the most phenomenal and for inspiring is "Million Dollar Dream" from the a lot of achievement he grab, many struggle of have to in took to truth has come to you.

Me                   :    Hello, good afternoon .Thank you for spend

Merry Riana     :    Hello, I am fine. Thankyou

Me                   :    Where are the date of birth Cici?

Merry Rian       :    I was born in Jakarta, May 29 1980

Me                   :    Who name your parents? And all their work?

Merry Riana     :    My father named Ir. Suanto Sosrosaputro and 

                             his mother named Lynda Sanian

Me                   :    Do you Indonesian citizens?

Merry Riana     :    I was born and raised in Jakarta in a family

                             simple of chinese descent.

Me                        :    Where Cici Mer start education?

Merry Riana          :     I started education in elementary school Don Bosco Pulomas, then I entered junior    

                                   high and high schools Santa Ursula that is catholic school specifically women in   

                                  Central Jakarta. After graduation from high school, I wish to continue college on

                                 Trisakti. Ideals to lecture in the Department of Electrical Engineering from Trisakti    

                                University were dashed because of the incident in Jakarta 1998. Merry journey begins

                                 in Singapore during riots in Jakarta in 1998. He then chose the college in Singapore to

                                 avoid things that are not desirable. In Singapore I continue a lecture at Nanyang

                                  Technological University.

Me                         :   Why must is out of the country? And why Singapore selected?

Merry Riana           :    My father decided to send their children to study abroad. And Singapore when it is

                                   an option that makes the most sense because it is relatively close, safe environment

                                   and a good education system.

Me                         :    At college there you take what majors?

Merry Riana           :    I took of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE)

Me                         :    Why you took that majors?

Merry Riana           :    Is of the most makes sense to me that time. I they want to be an engineer. Their goals

           was probably the eager to help the father in running a business. Without adequate

           preparation for study abroad, Merry had failed the English test at the Nanyang

           Technological University.

Me                         :    Is it true you borrow funding from the government funding Singapore?

Merry Riana           :    Right. Without adequate preparation of stock funds anyway, I borrow funds from

           the Government of Singapore. I borrowed money from the Bank of Singapore

           Government scholarships of $ 40,000 and must be repaid after he graduated   

           from college and work. The funding has been minimal, because after he

           calculated only get $ 10 for a week. For frugality, I around this by just eating

           instant noodles in the morning, lunch with 2 pieces of bread without butter, join

           seminars and gatherings in the evening after a free meal, even for just drink I

           took from the water faucet or tap water on campus. It was gradually almost every

           day in his first year in college. Life is very alarming is encouraged to seek

           outside income. From start distributing pamphlets / flyers on the street, a flower

           shop keepers, and a waitress in the hotel Banquet.

Me                         :    And what about pay money you and loan from the government Singapore? Do you   

                                   work?

Merry Riana           :    Yes, starting from share pamphlets / brochures in the way, be the keeper of florists,  

                                   and to service banquet at the hotel.

Me                         :    So how come until you get the money 1 million dollars?

Merry Riana           :    I tried business MLM, tried to play stock, all of which ended in failure. I also tried to

           practices by plunging into multi level of marketing although finally loss 200 dollars. I

           even were losing 10.000 dollars when twisted the money in business stock. At that

           moment I fell and I lost all my investments. But, I went back to stand up and hard to

           become entrepreneur. They graduate from college, with Alva Tjenderasa that is my

           friend when I first college and now it has been my husband, we started of doing 

           business with. I started by sector of sales in the field of financial services. When I

           started a career as a financial adviser, I have to grapple with some the challenges 

           and barrier. As a visitor stranger in there, experience and relations was very limited.

           I have decided to work 14 hours a day, standing near MRT stations and a bus stop   

          to offer insurance, in fact I worked until midnight and just got home at 2 early morning,

           not to mention income that is not certainly made I was forced to back saving up to

           regulate their daily needs. Until finally I got succeed as financial consultant who sells  

           products finance and     banking as insurance, credit card, deposits, savings, etc.

                                   In the first six months my career in the prudential managed to settle his debt 40
                                   thousand dollars Singapore. Exactly one my first year managed to get income of 200
                                   thousand dollars Singapore or     about 1,5 billion rupiah. And then I had been given
                                   award new top adviser gastronomic  prize many people of their profession the
                                   financial adviser in 2003. In 2004, I be promoted as manager, and then i started 
                                   her own business after appointed as manager to hire have employees own  and later

           erected MRO (Merry Riana Organization) a financial services company, other than
           I also established MRO consultancy who working in the area of training, motivation
           and printing book based in Singapore.

Me                         :   Who figures the most support Merry Riana until now?

Merry Riana           :   Since the beginning, my husband, Alva, have stand together in building business and

                                  travel to this success.

Me                         :   Is the success of is supported factors luck? A lot of I saw factors luck also affected.  

          What do you think?

Merry Riana           :   Luck or fortune is when there is a chance that comes in and we have prepared

          themselves for it.

Me                         :   Do you think the success? Do you currently have get there?

Merry Riana           :    I think, success of someone not measured from how lot of money, how expensive the             car or how fancy his house, but from how big positive impact that we can create in  

                                   the life of people in around us.
